STAAGS!!!, THE: Five Songs From The Staags!!!: CD-R

The Staags!!! are a psychotic good-time band with a professed love of getting wasted ("Let's Get Wasted") and pounding out the primitive rhythms of rock'n'roll. "Limbo" sounds like it could have come out of the post-punk scene of the late '70s, while "Noise Ordinance Rock" could have been a '60s frat pounder. The stand up drums are the safety pins that hold this outfit together because, like all good rock music, it feels like it could fall apart at any moment. Singer Quinn Powers screams, hollers and sings his way through these songs in a warped warble and the guitars sound like they've been bashed out of tune.
