Happy Holidays everyone!

This year has been a pretty amazing year - I've travelled around the world watching the Free Hugs Campaign grow, I've opened my home and invited the world in, with interesting results and now - I've finished my book - The Illustrated Guide to Free Hugs!

The best part about it all?

It's absolutely free for you to download and read!

Click the link above, check it out and let me know what you think!

In giving you the gift of my book this holiday season, I lost the publishing deal I had with a major company. Until I can find a new publisher who supports the Free Hugs Campaign and letting me distribute this book online absolutely free, you'll only find the book at www.freehugsguide.org.

You are absolutely free to pass the book along to anyone you like - email it to family, friends, anyone at all - The artist and I just hope you enjoy the Illustrated Guide to Free Hugs!

Have a great holiday season and take care!

Hugs, Juan

Awesome achievement. And this book encapsulates perfectly the true spirit of Free Hugs.

Oh, and one day I truly hope to see the book in my hands, too.

Free Hugs. It's been a truly inspirational and humbling journey... so far. Thank you Juan Mann.

Merry Xmas everyone. : D

Juan,

Book writers don't have to be confined by publishers these days. You can self publish (but where would you get the money for advance copies?) or you can print on demand. Might not get your book into bookstores right away, but fans could order it off your website. Check out some of these sites:

http://outskirtspress.com/ondemandpublishing.php
http://www.mimeo.com/
http://www.iuniverse.com/

Just google "books on demand" and you'll find a ton of information!
Happy publishing and Merry Christmas!

Jenn

Awesome stuff mate. I work in a public library so if you wanted me to I'll try and see if the powers-that-be would pop a few copies on the shelves of some of the bigger branches in the region. :)

If you're interested, just send me a message and I'll try to twist a few arms. Doubt it'd take much twisting though.

Have a great Xmas mate, and an even better 2008.

Once again you are such an inspiration Juan! I have made my own Free Hugs graphics(still putting the finishing touches on it) to put on a t-shirt and have considered offering them for free to any that may want them. So when I finish it up I'll upload them here on Myspace and other community sites I'm on. :D

Peace Lovin' Hugs!

And A merry Season to All...

There’s something in a simple hug
That always warms the heart;
It welcomes us back home
And makes it easier to part.

A hug is a way to share the joy
And sad times we go through,
Or just a way for friends to say
They like you ’cause you’re you.

Hugs are meant for anyone
For whom we really care,
From your grandma to your neighbor,
Or a cuddly teddy bear.

A hug is an amazing thing –
It’s just the perfect way
To show the love we’re feeling
But can’t find the words to say.

It’s funny how a little hug
Makes everyone feel good;
In every place and language,
It’s always understood.

And hugs don’t need new equipment,
Special batteries or parts -
Just open up your arms
And open up your hearts.

~Give someone a hug today...they'll love you for it...!!

MVmusic- new release in the player

I just came across your profile, very interesting. Both myself and Mike of MVmusic both tend to show our feeling whether people like it or not. May'be its our ethnic background and the communities we grew up in that sets us apart from most Americans. To be honest, it's a real sad state of society that people have to be reminded to hug.
As people who strive to be the best mentally, spiritually and physically, we both get irritated by a segment of our own music scene. It's an embarrassment when we have ravers claiming to represent love, peace and happiness and then need drugs just to show their care or to let the music take over, dance and be free. If they need drugs to achieve that then they really don't belong ro our scene since they're not gaining anything.
Then again, may'be the EDM scene just as in every other music scene is becomming a reflection of our sick society.
In our 3rd month since officially launching our music project we have decided to bring our own philosophy out in the public and merge it with our art. We have decided to lead the music scene which was meant to represent positivity, rather than let the scene define us.

I definately plan to check out your free hugs guide when I get back from workin out. Thank you for making the world a better place.
