Last night was the 79th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony (well done Scorsese if you're reading this, hey why not?) and unfortunately I couldn't be there as I'm not an actor, producer, director, sound engineer, editor, choreographer, composer, make-up artist or Tom Cruise but I have got a heart-sinking and stomach wrenching speech to make.
I just want to say a big thank you to all the people who have been and continue to subscribe to the As Soon As Plausible Podcast, everyday there are around nearly 20 new subscribers and that is quite amazing. But obviously this wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for some of these people, erm..umm...err...actually it's all just down to me for performing, producing and writing the podcasts...hmm I sound a bit like Ricky Gervais, oh god. Maybe if I audition for X-Factor and Simon Cowell belittles me, then I might end up with my very own Oscar next year, hows about it?
But anyway seriously muchas gracias to all those who keep listening, downloading and subscribing to my podcast series, I appreciate it.
And in other news, I have sent off my sitcom script 'Street Theatre' about the lives of a group of Covent Garden buskers/street artists, to professional script reader Marc Blake and hope to get feedback soon, I'm really pleased with the scripts I've written so far, it's my best work with out a doubt.
Anyway enough of this self-congratulating blog it really is starting to seem like the Oscars.
Thankyou and have a nice life.
