Right, let me give you an update on what is happening with my sitcom scripts for 'Street Theatre' the sitcom about the lives of three Covent Garden street performers. Well a script I wrote for an episode called 'And Then There Was The Bump' is currently in the hands of professional script reader Marc Blake, I've been informed by Marc that he has three other scripts to read before he gets to mine, so the feedback may be a while yet.

Meanwhile though I've kept on writing more scripts, I don't like to be lazy you see, I've almost wrote enough episodes to fill a full series, so if this sitcom did ever get picked up, things would be pretty easy...but lets not get ahead of myself. The other episodes I've wrote are called:

And Then There Was The Onion
And Then There Was The Denial
And Then There Was The Curry
And Then There Was The Valentine Card

I've really enjoyed writing these and I am finding it much easier to write for the characters now, which is what I was aiming at, so I really hope something comes of this sitcom idea...hey if you know anybody in the sitcom production business then get in touch

But if that isn't enough, I've also wrote an episode for a totally different sitcom about a superficial model living with her dysfunctional family, titled 'Mary-Ann's A Bitch' (yes the title was inspired by the wonderful Regina Spektor song). So I have back-up plans, plus I just love writing and the more I write, the better I get.

Anyway, none sitcom related, I'd like to recommend a television show for you good people out there, I know TV is pretty terrible nowadays but I highly recommend Heroes, it has only just started over here in the UK on the Sci-Fi channel and it is really worth checking out, I'm currently on episode 18 and it really is fantastic and the plot moves a lot quicker than Lost, so yeah check that out.

Also a little plug for Luke and Harry's Tropical Hour which starts on 209 Radio this Saturday evening, from 8-9pm. You can listen to that at www.209radio.co.uk

I'll be back with a new As Soon As Plausible podcast on Friday 23rd March.

Have a good day and week and all that.

Good luck with the scripts, Martin and I really like your picture above to complement your writing. Onwards and upwards and if anyone dares to get in your way on the way up then stamp on them!!!

Just catching up with blogs and stuff... really great to hear you're well into your stride with the sitcom... the biggest barrier for most writers is the discipline of actually writing, so it looks like you've cracked that one.

I can't decide whether I like writing or recording more, so am constantly pinging backwards and forwards between the two. Not the best for productivity when trying to create a series.

More power to your elbow sir! Or at least your typing fingers...
