A Student of Cosmic Malevolence
He clings to a fleeting image A man sipping wine on a train Racing through a cloudless And ever so bloodless night
What of man’s universal sorrow A cosmic lapse Something small Absolutely critical in effect
An arachnid spins a web God of its universe Spilling from it entrails
A careless thought A lazy daydream A ghost of limbo
The world’s cobweb goes crazy Everything out of kilter Black holes appear in the memory
We dance with Name the snakes Curling in our minds Give voice and words to them While the god-like spider Waits ever so patiently
