Life

A blessed color-blindness
a fixation on one wavelength
in a full spectrum of color
an infinitely variable pallet

The holy men
the divinely insane
the metaphysical epileptic
painting with different particles

The serenity of a slow growing cedar
the fusion of light
mineral and water
the alchemy of existence
the nucleus and electron
something greater than itself

An exquisite word-painting, makes me think of Einstein.

I didn't know that, though I know he played the violin, and had a great personality.

Deep.  I like the last three lines best.  Also, "The serenity of a slow growing cedar".  Love that.

Thank you.  I'm fond of the last stanza, but since there are only three, I like the second one pretty well too.

Thank you Terry.  You gave this short poem a pretty tall order.

I get where this is coming from. Interesting perspective. I need a new perspective for my writing.

Keep experimenting, Phil.  I am generally all over everywhere in my poeltry (yes.  that's the proper spelling--pronounced as written).  Thanks for commenting.   Shaine
