Dear Sparrow Friends,

It has been a long time since we have put together a blog message but we are about to embark upon a UK tour with Kill it Kid and put out another EP, so we figured that now was as good a time as any to give you an update.

This past year has been pretty amazing and crazy for us and we can't thank you enough for coming out to see us play (or catching us accidentally, whatever it may have been).  Either way, thanks for your support. Some of our highlights have been putting out our very first EP, "Sleight of Hand" on Distiller Records, which you can purchase online from the following stores if you are interested:

We have also toured the UK with Edinburgh's Broken Records, supported British Sea Power at Regent Park's Open Air Theater and the Lemonheads at Glasgow's ABC, played the BBC introducing tent at Glastonbury Festival and, most recently, played in the Tipi tent at the very lovely End of the Road festival in Dorset. We also put out a video for Devil Song that was done by our crazy and awesome friend Gavin Wood and attemped our own rather shaky hands at video recording via a 3-part video tour diary for the Broken Records tour. But enough about the past, we're supposed to be telling you what's going on in the near future. The 2nd of October kicks off a 2 week UK tour with Kill it Kid. We will be playing at the following venues, so please come out and say hello if you are in the area:
