Two of the most influential record labels of all time celebrate milestone anniversaries this year so London’s No.1 Hip-Hop party promoters are celebrating by making them go head to head. Each DJ will play a set dedicated to a particular label as we switch back and forth between Hip-Hop bangers and “The sound of young America”

To mark Motown’s 50th birthday this year The Doctor’s Orders resident and promoter Spin Doctor has recorded a double disk mix CD that will be released in conjunction with this event and available in all good record stores. Spin has hand picked a team of four DJs that will be playing sets that delve into the huge catalogues of these incredible labels.

After the closure of Herbal we have been lucky enough to secure a venue for what we are certain is going to be another night not to forget from The Doctor’s Orders.

Representing for Motown we have London legend Phil Asher, The Doctor’s Orders resident in chief Spin Doctor and on warm up duty our man Deke from Evergreen. Covering 50 years of Soul, Disco and R&B this is sure to set the house alight.

In the Def Jam corner are Livin’ Proof’s DJ Snips and Southern Hospitality’s Rob Breezy. Both are well known on the London Hip-Hop scene and are making their debuts for The Doctor’s Orders but with such a phenomenal back catalogue to work with they are sure to be setting the roof on fire tonight!
