Most of you dont know me personally. I have a 6 1/2 year old son who was diagnosised with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy called "Limb Girdle' Its so rare that theres only 1000 known cases in the country and the one he has hasnt even been classified yet. Theres no cure, no treatment other then physical therapy. Hes missing a protein in his blood that gives muscles their strength. He has pain everyday in his legs and falls down alot from his legs giving out on him. We have no idea what his future will be like. He may end up in a wheel chair, he may not. Although his brain is normal and hes very smart, he suffers everyday from this dibilitating disease. He can not run or jump like his sisters and he needs help getting up from the floor or using stairs. My son, Tristan was recently chosen to be the "Good Will Ambassador" for the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) Ride For Life Bike Run. Its sponsered by Harley Davidson and will take place in Hershey Pa this May 2nd and 3rd.
We are raising money in Tristans honor, to help support the MDA and all the others out there suffering from this disease. There are many forms, some alot worse then Tristans. All money raised will benefit the MDA and go towards research in finding a cure. Please say you will help! Every dime counts and is very appreciated.
