Hello all.

Just wanted to bring you all up to speed on some interesting and exciting developments on the Nick+Gerald front.

We have entered into a collaboration with the prolific and renowned science fiction/fantasy novelist, Christopher Rowley.

We are working together to compose music for his Books of Arna series.

This is a trilogy of novels, The Ancient Enemy, The Shasht War and Doom's Break.

As can be read on Chris's wikipedia entry, one of his earlier novels, Starhammer, was cited by the programmer Jason Jones as "an important literary influence in the creation of the Halo video game by Bungie Studios".

We will be releasing an album of the first book called The Chronicles of Arna and depending on it's reception, we will create two further albums covering the other two novels.

Quite a Tolkien feat, or would that be a Tolkien feet? Who knows.

As a taster, we have uploaded one of the tracks we are developing, 'The Battle for Arna' on our MySpace page | www.myspace.com/nickandgerald |. It's a 'working mix at the moment, i.e. not 100%, still, check it out. All comments and feedback welcome.
