This is My Dads Myspace that I put up so that I could download his music.I havent taught him how to use this yet because he's just getting "emailing" down.. So until he actually checks his own page, Im having to copy and past his mail from here and send it to him but the problem with that, no way to respond. So... Hi Billy here! The first record I had of 'your Dad' was the one with TUBBY HAYES. It's a while ago now and someone 'borrowed' it and I never got it back. I think it was, CONSTANZO + TUBBS. That's what got me 'hooked' on Bongoes and Congas. I followed his amazingly expert lead and became proficient. BUT HE WAS THE START!! My very best to all of the family. VERY PLEASED TO BE ASSOCIATED with such a brilliant musician. GREATEST RESPECT! B.

My name is Jay, I've been doing some research on my father Keefe West and I have come to understand that he was a vocalist on many tracks on your fathers "Equation in Rhythm" album.

Yes Legend is the word and great guy is the other description I would use to describe Mr Bongo. It was my greatest pleasure to interview him on The Cocktail Nation radio show and podcast.
