From: Delaney Bramlett
Date: Dec 3, 2008 12:20 AM

Due to some unexpected complications, Delaney will undergo a very, very intense surgery on this coming Thursday morning, Dec. 4th. It is his choice to share this very intimate information with his friends, fans & those he knows loves him. Delaney's testament of his own love for Jesus prompted our need to let you know that on Thursday morning he will be totally in the hands of the surgeons and in the hands of God, Himself. The power of prayer is an amazing thing. We have felt your love & support for the past 6 months, and that has been what has kept us going.

We now really, really need whatever prayers you have left to help get us thru this very critical surgery. I have read to Delaney each & every message & will continue to do so when he recovers. I will keep you informed on any new updates just as soon as I am able.....Your outpour of love and kind words over the past 6 months has brought tears to his eyes many times. Your abundant encouragement & support has helped keep me strong more than you will ever know.

Please think of us on Thurs. morning, and if you will, say a prayer. We both love you and thank you and God Bless You, too, ... and HIS WILL WILL BE DONE.

Update Delaneys surgery is this morning at 730am Dec 8th All prayers are out for him Lee

DELANEY was stable enough for the ventilator to be removed last night. It was truly a joyous moment for him to be able to look down at his body and not see a gaping hole in it. We understand that the journey ahead is still expected to be rough...but, that he is still here is a true miracle & blessing, and we've got the love, prayers & support of all of you. He is still in the ICU but should be moved to a regular room in a few days.

Wishing you all blessed and Wonderful Holidays.

Susan
