This weekend is the end of the semester and graduation time for SCAD down in Savannah. My brother is graduating and I will be visiting that southern city to see him walk on Saturday.
Friday night I am playing an acoustic set at the Sentient Bean in Savannah with locals The Floorboards (www.myspace.com/itsthefloorboards) and Aux Arc (www.myspace.com/sundaesailor). I believe the show will start around 8pm. There is NO COVER charge, but there will be a basket for donations passed around in case you wish to contribute.
My set will consist of some old songs off of Conceptual Realizations, some newer ones to be included on ...In Love and Death, and covers of some of my favorite artists. I play covers because there have been some absolutely incredible songs written by some amazing individuals that I think everyone should hear. I am really looking forward to my short visit to Savannah.
