We as a band would like to thank the bartender that was serving at the hideaway saloon in Louisville KY last Friday night (we think his name is Compass, if anyone knows for sure please tell us). Not because he poured up some awesome beers or anything like that. It is because he put his life on the line for our property. After we finished our set, we started taking our gear off stage and out to our cars. Well, Compass was out back having a smoke in the shadows when out in the parking lot he could see someone trying the doors to our drummers car, seeing which ones were locked and unlocked. Unfortunately, one of the doors was unlocked and this dumb criminal reached in and grabbed a backpack. Compass saw him, took off running after this guy, and gave chase to get our property back. We had just barely met the guy and he did this. What an amazing person... The thief had a getaway car waiting about a block away and he jumped in to make his exit. Compass JUMPED INTO THE CAR to get the backpack back. He could have had a knife, gun, or steel pipe pulled on him by this low life piece of shit car thief, and yet he did all this. He was kicked in the face, lost a tooth and pushed out of a car. All for a backpack that belongs to someone he does not know. We are eternally grateful to you good sir. And the next time any of you are at the Hideaway Saloon in Louisville KY be sure to leave a gigantic tip because he deserves it more than anyone we know.
