Merry Meet everyone!
At last, my book is FINISHED! DONE! COMPLETE! SUBMITTED! And now... a bit of much needed respite before my next project... ONLINE WORKSHOPS!
I've had so many requests from those who subscribe to my newsletter or read my blogs, for online workshops. Currently a group of New Dedicants to our Temple meets and studies online so I thought... that same format for workshops should work out beautifully!
Here is a list of the upcoming topics, and here are the guidelines. If you are interested in a particular workshop, please message me via MySpace or at my personal email (JoLynne@FullMoonRisingMagazine.com) to register.
The fees are just $5 per person in order to make these workshops affordable for everyone. Clearly, I'm not in it for the money... these topics are a passion of mine and I am honored and happy to share them with all who are interested. So when you register online, I will add your name to my list, then confirm your registration once payment is sent to me in the mail.
I will be accepting just TEN registrants per workshop in order to maximize the opportunity for all to learn well. The workshops will be held in the CHAT FORUM on the Temple home-page. Those who are not registered for a workshop but wander into the chat-forum on the night of any workshop will be temporarily blocked from the forum, in order to allow those who are legitimately registered, to receive the undivided attention and focus they deserve.

INTRODUCTION TO WICCA & WITCHCRAFT
Though most Wiccans are Witches, not every Witch is Wiccan. In this introductory workshop, discover the differences between the Wiccan religion and the more ancient practice of WitchCraft . Also learn some of the traditions of both practices. Includes printed fact-sheets that are e-mailed to participants upon registration so you can follow along during class and get the most from the material. Whether you want to learn more about the histories and practices of Wicca and WitchCraft, or are looking to discover whether either of these paths is for you, you'll enjoy this informative workshop. $5 per person
To maximize the mystical experience, this workshop has been scheduled during the Waxing Aquarius Moon, one day before the Moon goes Full.

MYSTERIES OF THE PENTACLE
Perhaps the most misunderstood and misused sacred symbol on Earth, the Pentacle is intimidating to many, including some Witches. Yet this symbol is beyond sacred, having established itself in antiquity among many cultures worldwide. What is the power of the Pentacle? What are the ways it can be used? How can its power be wielded? Moreover, how might one overcome mental blocks in order to become comfortable with this symbol? This workshop is excellent for those new to the Craft, seasoned Witches, Pagans or anyone interested in learning more about the truths and powers of the Pentacle. $5 per person.
To maximize the mystical experience, this workshop has been scheduled during the Waxing Harvest Moon in Pisces, with the Autumnal Equinox energy of Balance, prevailing. That we are holding a workshop regarding a sacred, powerful symbol which brings about peace and empowerment, on a date remembered by many as one of great sadness, is by deliberate design. The Pentacle is a symbol of untold mystical power; such power has the potential to overcome great negativity.

DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS
Dark spells, hexes and curses... Negative talk, gossip, ill wishes and harmful thoughts... All these things can and do occur in the real world. That we should seek to rise above it, or that we avoid these practices ourselves, does not mean that we are protected from the negative thoughts, intentions or actions of others. If someone (or something) is out to deliberately hurt you, "wrapping them in white Light" just does not cut it. Serious Witches and Mystics know that to protect oneself and our loved ones adequately, we must be versed in Defense Against The Dark Arts.
{Note: this course is by no means inclusive as many of the techniques are appropriate only for very experienced Witches and Wizards. However in this workshop participants will learn all that is needed to successfully block or negate the negative intentions and actions of humans and malevolent spirits.}
$5 per person; a short questionairre will be administered before participants are registered.
This workshop takes place, quite appropriately, on the Waning Moon.
