Hey everyone,
A big thank you to fans in Idaho last week. I had a great time seeing everyone and performing at Anime Oasis again.
This weekend I'll be at Anime St. Louis. I've never been there before, and am really looking forward to it. I am just getting over a cold, and trying to heal this voice before next weekend-ginger honey and peppermint tea are my favorite things right now.
Next weekend, I'll be at the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention in Nashville. I'll be bringing a guest guitarist as well.
I just did a radio interview on riverfrontradio.com (st. louis based), and will be on a few other interviews in the next few weeks.
A few weeks ago I went down to Atlanta to Coffeehouse Recording Studio and worked on some tracks from the new upcoming album. I am getting the hang of Cubase, and with the patient help of my engineer, Brian Thompson, it will be coming together soon. The album will be called "Signal." I've been reading a lot of Ray Kurzweill's work, and thinking of signal as a symbolic word not only for electronic composition but dealing with "signals" in life that root us to ancient times and the future similtaneously.
Anyway, I thoroughly recommend his books. The Age of Spiritual Machines and Singularity both are amazing.
Please wish me luck.
I'll do my best to stay in touch.
Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring and new growth. Warm wishes to you all Love Lisa
