I am curently listening to an extraordiary collection of poet and musical items that I recorded with my old chum David Ivor Barrington back in late August 2008 at his house near Llandudno, North Wales.  We had not even seen each other for over 25 years!  Back even before Swell Maps occurred , we had collaborated on a project that we named "Incredible Hulk".  He was then dubbed Phones Sportsman, for reasons that now escape me.  He has now renamed us "HeadPhones" which is much funnier and more original.  Our collective ability to make absurd recordings has not deserted us.  We certainly bring out the imp of the perverse in each other.  Some of the verse is by Dylan Thomas, some was in nmy sketch-book.  Some we made up on the spot.  There are also experiments using random radio frequencies and electric shaver.  We also also devised an advertisement for the Welsh Tourist Board.  We even got around to recording some music, making up 2 spelendid songs:  "Anne in Spectacles" and "Ominivorous".  It seems that we might have an album in the making....
