Made me smile to watch it again after so long! This concert was not too long before his death. Can't get over how healthy he looks! He was really enjoying himself here. Warmed my soul to see that!

So wonderful is every Stan Getz song, but I see a spunk in him as he plays here...very enjoyable to listen and watch everlasting talent.
Bev, I watched the video, then when I went to make a comment I read yours. It is hard to believe he was sick whatsoever when you watch the life in him as he plays.
I am sure he is still playing, just in a much bigger band with some more of the all time legends who have stepped over to play in the Glory band:)
God bless you. I would be lost without my Getz music player! My daughter asked me one day, "Mom, do you ever listen to anything else but that "saxophone music?..that's all I ever hear you play."
Well, the answer to that is...very rarely! lol If it doesn't have a sax playing in there somewhere, they have left out the best instrument. My favorite is still "Didn't We." I am mesmerized everytime the creshendo in the end comes. That sound is so distinct and incredible. How lucky were you as a kiddo growing up to get to hear this sound all the time?

You know, you would think after listening and watching for 40+ years I'd stop getting goosebumps each time....no, that sensation just never goes away. I'm sorry I missed this until now....thank you Dennis and Bev....love the Tux...!!!!
