Dennis Emmanuel Brown was born February 1st, 1957. He was a Rastaman belonging to the tribe of Joseph, Twelve Tribes of Israel Organisation. DBrown was one of the most prolific singers from Jamaica and is widely loved as one of the greatest singers in Reggae. Dennis Brown's middle name 'Emmanuel' means 'The LORD is with us." Let JAH be Praised I-tinually.

The following quotation from the Book of Genesis Chapter 49, verses 22-26 appears in the liner notes for several DBrown albums, so it seems he really felt this one.
