Current mood:  okay

I can't help it. I must shop for cars whether I'm going/able to buy or not. There's been a car I've kept my eye on for weeks now, figured I'd share it. It originally was listed at $11,999. I figured out that if I could talk them down to $11,000 and get $2,000 for my trade, I could afford it. Less than  week later, they lowered the price to $10,691. It's been this price for about 2 weeks now. If it wasn't for the 2.5 hour distance, I would have been behind the wheel of this car already.

So have a peek at her for as long as this listing will last.
The listing is here
This is what I want. Tranny, color, options. Mileage. Exactly it. *sigh*

Don't encourage me! haha! Yep, the TA was from about 40 minutes farther down the highway than where this Legacy sits. Apparently we like cars from Virginia! It is a very nice Ikea kitchen they installed for sure! I took a pic of the countertop at Ikea I like & was able to find it at Lowes today to show Jonathan in person. Crazy stupid expensive though... one day...

Also, I have been eyeballing the 2009 Imprezas. They've got an incredible leasing deal at one of the local dealers here. You may very well have me talked into getting a Subaru one of these days.

Do yourself a favor and check out a Legacy before you go Impreza. They're both quality vehicles, don't get me wrong. In fact, the redesigned hatch had my heart for a long time. However, I've realized I'm old & want more upscale/adult things & the Legacy is just what fits. I think anyway. We're going to the international auto show in Philly in 2 weekends, I'll be playing around there in everything my paws can touch lol... There is a new Subaru beast being planned with Toyota right now, a rwd coupe that will be sold under both names... just in case you'd be into that in the future :-) Subaru is the way to go, I'm tell ya!

This must be car lusting month cause I've had my eye on this one: http://www. carmax. com/enUS/view-car/default. html?AVi=25&id=5507692&N=4294966861&D=90&zip=37211&No=20&Ep=Homepage%20Make&Rp=R&PP=20&sV=List&CD=10+14+240+190+8+9&Q=53ed7cca-4af9-444d-9790-714410f01adb Don't know much about Suburu's but I am slowly becoming a SAAB addict. I don't know girl...seems like a nice day for a 2.5 hr car ride.

Wow! That's a beautiful Saab, love it in silver too! The other car I actually stopped to look at is a Saab 9-2x, which ironically enough is a Subaru with Saab skin lol... It's a bastard child that Saab & Subaru hardcore fans both hate equally, which makes it lose value faster than both. Saab design sure is beautiful, wouldn't mind owning one! The car ride didn't happen today, we spent the day store hopping, looking at lighting, giving Lowes more money & getting groceries. Now it's almost 5 and time to settle in for the night.
You know, old people things haha

Looks nice! :) I'd really love to get a new car myself (I'm dying for a hybrid -- especially a Prius. I've wanted one for years). I was orig. waiting for the new Prius' which I think were supposed to come out late this year or early next, but Larry recently told me they're on hold b/c of some serious problems w/the design/battery. :( I'd wanted to get a new Prius, but maybe I'll just settle for a used one... Or, hell, I dunno. Maybe I'll just lease for a while. My Saturn's still fine, but I've had it for almost 9 years now.

You're lucky that your car is still doing well, Saturns can last a long time if properly maintained. I'm about 8.5 years along with the Sunfire & I just want to upgrade! If you want a hybrid, you may be interested to know that Honda is bringing back the Insight, although not so goofy looking. It's actually going to look very close to the Prius, take a look online for it. There was a fact sheet thing in the paper the other day, when gas prices were high, the Prius was the first to pay off the extra cost of being hybrid at 3.5 years. Most other hybrids aren't worth the extra cost, especially now that gas dropped.
Pick one up used for sure to cut into that deficit!
