Current mood:  disgusted

Figured I'd share some of the wonderful things I get to look at when dealing with my car

First, I'd like to share the beautiful lights I get to look at when it's wet out. The one on the left is "ETS OFF" which means I don't have traction control. The one on the right is "ABS" which means I don't have anti-lock breaks either. The cool thing is that it only does then when it's wet & that's when I'd prefer to have the both of them The odometer is 8,000 miles short since replacing the guages a few years ago, so disreguard what it says, I really have just over 96,000 miles. Yeah... this is how I roll...

And my BEAUTIFUL paint! Not only do I have flaking clear coat on 3 out of 4 fenders, but now my roof joined in the fun! Check 'er out! Two spots, each about the size of my hand with fingers spread. They've officially shed their paint as of this morning.

Here they are hanging out together & getting a little sun on this cold, windy day!

I guess with a slipping transmission, this really shouldn't matter, right?

Literally LOLing about that! Funny thing about that comment is that I was going to maybe shine 'er up one last time for a huge meet at Sonic in Morgantown coming up in April & I told my husband I'd take off the seat covers for it. He hates them with a passion & wants to light them on fire.
I've got mint seats under there, they're probably worth more than the whole car!

Remember, they don't last forever. Otherwise the car companies would go out of business. Not really, they can do that by themselves. The point is nothing lasts forever and no matter how well something is taken care of it will eventually pass on. Unless you put it in a case and never touch it.
Know what I mean ?

Yeah I know what you mean. If I at least had shade to park in, this wouldn't be quite the issue that it is. Maybe we should seriously consider extending the driveway next to the garage & putting a roof out like a carport. I think our cars are baking themselves to death.
