hey all-
it's been alittle while since my last update on the process of making this new record. perhaps it's because i've been working like a dog to try and finish it. BUT....i'm happy to anounce that i recieved the master early last week....and it's GREAT. the past month has seen both producers (nathan dantzler and jason ingram) and i through the final tracking process as well as the mix. the artwork has come together nicely as well. there's a huge level of excitement here at the Olson house, as well as among the folks at the label about this new music.

one story in particular about the new record has stood out to me as noteworthy. michael w. smith was given an advanced copy of the master due to his involvement with the label. i was told that he had tears in his eyes after hearing one of the new cuts called "first love." it's amazing to know that the music is effecting people in such a deep way already. i can't wait to hear the stories of how God uses this music in the lives of others after it comes out.

for now...it's a count down until february 14th....a great day for another reason as well!! many blessings on you guys as we enter into the holiday season.
