I BEG OF YOU!!!!!!!!  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT

 TO HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EVEN IF THIS MEANS NOTHING TO YOU,... PLEASE DO IT FOR ME!!!  YOU CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT THIS MEANS TO ME!!!!!

Good Morning America just had a segment about 'My Monkey Baby' that will air on TLC, it was practically an infomercial about how great monkeys are as 'pets'!!! PLEASE write to GMA and TLC and tell them how wrong it is, many of the monkeys in the segment had no teeth, they were eating junk food, well, it was just awful!  I HAVE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE AS MOST OF YOU KNOW THAT MONKEYS DO NOT BELONG IN OUR HOMES!!!!!!!!!!  IT IS CRUEL, IT IS A MISTAKE, IT IS DANGEROUS, IT NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!!!!!!!!!

This show is going to make people want a monkey!!   They won't consider the lifelong effects that it WILL CAUSE.   I LIVE WITH REGRET AND PAIN IN MY HEART EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR WHAT I DID!!!   I MISS ANDY TERRIBLY BUT HE DID NOT BELONG IN MY HOME.  I DID WHAT I THOUGHT WAS BEST!!!  PLEASE HELP ME TO STOP ANYONE ELSE FROM MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE!!!

Go to this link and leave a comment telling them that you WILL NOT WATCH THIS SHOW!!!   I WILL NOT WATCH TLC AS LONG AS THIS SHOW IS BEING AIRED!!!!  I AM FURIOUS WITH THEM FOR DOING THIS!!!!!!!  I have been trying to make a difference in this "Monkey Business" since I had to bring Andy to Jungle Friends.  This show is going to hurt every effort that Kari at Jungle Friends, I or anyone has made in the past.

PLEASE GO TO THESE LINKS,  ESPECIALLY THE FIRST ONE AND LEAVE A COMMENT ON ANDY'S AND MY BEHALF!!
The first link is directly to the network that will be airing the show.  Fill in the blanks and check all that applies.  The show name is "My Monkey Baby"  tell them that they should NOT show this and if they do they should atleast show the "OTHER SIDE" of the story, which are the story's like mine and the thousands of other people who will tell you that monkeys DO NOT BELONG IN OUR HOMES!!!!!  I will personally volunteer to tell them why it is wrong!!!!    It is not only for the animals sake,.. it is just as much for the humans sake too.  I don't want anyone to experience the mental and physical pain that I did.

Here are the links,

THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

SINCERELY,
ANGELLE

PS  Here is the link to my story if you don't already know it.
ANGELLE AND ANDY'S STORY

PLEASE VISIT WWW.JUNGLEFRIENDS.ORG and you can see for yourself, first hand, how many monkeys started off as pets but were given away because their owners finally realized that it was impossilbe to keep these animals as pets.

You've got my backing Angelle & thanks for bringing this to my attention. Wild animals are not meant to be pets, the results can be extremely bad for the owner as well as the animal involved. Thanks again!!!

Angelle I will go to these sites, I watched The Outsider's that night that it was about Pet Monkeys and Jungle Friends...A Positive show which is showing how bad they are as pets, in fact I did record it.
So I know how you suffured giving Andy up, not only you, but your Mom too..She thinks of Andy as her Grandchild...Still I bet!  Small cute lil Dogs are what make the best pets!  take Care..Hope it all works out in a positive way..You are right..if they show the bad with the good, it may at least show people what they are gettinhg into.  Hugs  xx

Done and done. Left comments on both links, and threatened not to watch their channels anymore. Hopefully it works.

There was a major chimp attack earlier this year here in CT that was horrible. I think it made national news, but the chimp was shot and a woman literally had her face ripped off.

I have a question for you though since you know much more about this topic than I do. What about helper monkeys for the disabled? Are those still considered cruel and dangerous? I assume so (for the same reason as monkey pets) but wanted to ask since I use a wheelchair and often wondered about them.

I contacted them as well Angelle,

Here's my small complaint to them...

I received word that you have a show to air on how wild animals make great pets. I disagree with this concept, and it enrages me that you will air this program without giving the complete story. This program will glorify trapping a wild animal in your home and 'causing mental and physical trauma to the owner and animal. I am a big fan of this network, but will no longer add to your ratings if this show airs as-is. Please take into consideration the amount of people you will undoubtedly anger. I hope you reconsider airing this program.  Hoping that you will do the right thing to keep my ratings...Phil

Good Luck to you in convincing them not to air this show

I went to the TLC site and commented. But the GMA page looks like the show shows both sides of the story. They had his teeth removed because he was biting the family members. And it says that sometimes the monkeys turn on thier owners. So hopefully is shows both sides of the story.

Wild animals should not be pets. They are awesome but not as pets.

Total support I read your story I'm sure there were good and bad times although when a animal is wild by nature it's very lucky no one gets hurt because it is in there nature when they become aggressive you did the best thing for him and you. Much respect ur fan Arnulfo

Angelle, This is important, and I hope more people watch GMA and understand that these animals need to stay in the wild. I spent 5 yrs in Panama at the Jungle warfare school and for me it was great to see the different monkeys and and animals in the wild.
Good luck with this mission.
