Today American helicopter gunships launched an attack 5 miles inside of Syria near the town of Abu Kamal. The Syrian border has long been used as an entry point into Iraq for foreign fighters looking to kill Americans and Iraqis. The U.S.
military operation today was in response. Reportedly 8 people were killed in the raid.
