Hey friends,
I just wanted to pass along a movie recommendation that I have been waiting years for. FINALLY a terrific movie entitled "Ivan's Childhood" is available on DVD. Thankfully it is being released to Criterion which means superior quality and restoration. Those guys are the best company ever.
Anyway, "Ivan's Childhood" is released late July and I would either buy or Netflix it...it is in my top ten of visually stunning movies (right up there with 2001 and Apocalypse Now). Those familiar with the Director (Tarkovsky) will be especially interested. Here is the DVD cover:
