Art Flavor of the Day: "ROCK-N-ART" by A. Chase

How about some interesting and whimsical work by A.Chase. Each life-like piece is hand painted on smooth river rocks. They make great garden ornaments and look amazingly real when placed under a tree in the yard. At recent art shows browsers were convinced they were stuffed pillows because they appear so warm and furry. Most were usually surprised when they felt them and they turned out to be hard, cold, stone! The best part when doing shows is watching the smiles these creatures generate. The critters...turtles and frogs, are coated with a gloss finish to make them look wet, and they all withstand outdoor weather when coated with a UV protectant coating to keep them from fading. The Music of the Moment: "CASE FOR THE MOON"

It's the first MySpace upload of many original songs by "cHaSe.
I love his stuff. "Case For The Moon" is a hauntingly memorable listen with well placed guitar riffs and impecable harmonies. Don't you agree? Check out his MySpace page HERE and comment to encourage him to upload some others. I've heard a few and they all make you want to hear another. I think he might have a place in "musicdom" with his own inimitable style, charming sense of humor and good looks.

Also... check out some of my new artistic friends. I am searching for some great stuff found here on MySpace so if you know any artists or musicians that have a great page, or want to be in a network of creative friends, let them or me know.
