Hi!

So, I FINALLY got a fancy myspace page!! Do you like it? lol
The photographer who took my photos, Zaiden, hooked it up so that was awesome!! Overall, I'm just super happy with the pictures he did. That ethereal thing I'm wearing in the banner pics is my most favorite item of clothing ever!! It's a 1970's vintage piece that I recently found at a store called True Value Vintage on Robson St. in Vancouver. Love it...except the bottom part is sort of ill-fitting (clingy polyester) so I'm taking the scissors and sewing machine to it and it's soon going to be just a really great shirt!

We played a slew of shows throughout the summer in Toronto which was great and now I'm attempting to book shows outside of Toronto which is slightly challenging. See, to begin with, I don't have a booking agent so I'm just emailing and calling up bars being like, "can we come play your place?". Seeing as we haven't played outside of Toronto much, it's not like I can promise a big draw just yet but, oh, if they'll just give us a chance!!! I'm also trying to tag along with some other bands and I'm talking to people so we will see what happens in the next week or so- I effin despise seeing my showlistings empty!

Tonight my friend is not feeling well so I'm bringing over some red peppers and then Im coming back home to just play music and maybe make some more feather headbands (shite, Im all out of glue- note to self to pick some up.) I swear red peppers are the elixir of life. Them and tomatoes. Whenever I'm feeling achey or just tired I eat one of the two and then I always feel better. Maybe psychosomatic and maybe not.

ANyhoo, I'm glad to be back in Toronto (spent a few weeks in Vancouver visiting friends and family) and now I gotta book these shows! SO, if you have any suggestions as to good places to play around Ontario, by all means drop me a line.

Talk soon swimmahs!

Tia

Hey Tia!  How's it goin'?  New page looks super cool!  Congrats also on Unstable...I'm going to be out that night but maybe it'll be on Hulu or something?  I'd love to see it just to hear your song come on...how exciting!
When you get a sec, check out this interview with (one of my very favs) Amber Rubarth - she worked for a booking agent in the earlier days of her career and has quite a few really good tips here: http://sivers.org/amber-rubarth.
Hope you had a great time in Vancouver...I can't wait 'till next May when I go back!!  It's great to hear from you - hope you are doing wonderfully well!

All The Best -

Regan
