Well we went on our vacation, as usual, it was the week of our anniversary. It was really nice.  We took the camper and went to two different lakes.  First we went to Belcow Lake up by Chandler and some of our friends, Doris & Michael, met us there and saved us a spot.  It was pretty full when we got there on Sat. evening, but it thinned out by Monday.  Monday we did some shopping around the big town of Chandler.  We ate at Martha's Country Kitchen, it was wonderful.  We will return, just to eat.  LOL

We left there and went accross country to Sulphur and camped again at Arbuckle Lake.  They have some really nice camping sites.  We liked it so much, we just stayed there for the rest of the week.  We also hit every Casino between the two points.   LOL  NO, we did not win, but we did pretty much break even, most of the time.  LOL

It was so very hot that we did not really go out much, until it cooled off in the evening.  If you call 75 to 80 cool....lol.  One night I just had to make a fire and cook dinner.  WOW, IT WAS HOT....ROFLOL.  That only happened once.  We sat there in the evening and watched Owls and Buzzards and Redtail Hawks just sore in the sky over us.  We put our water melon rinds on the table one night and when we got up the next morning, of course, something had eaten them clean.  Now for the funny part.  Bruce was all nice and wondering what it was that ate the rinds.  However, when he went to the truck he discovered that whatever it was that got the rinds, also got into his tackle bag, ripped open his catfish stink bait and ate every little crump.  ROFLOL....then it was a little (^^&**&%) varment.   I laughed until I almost cried because of the way he got so upset.   He laughed too!

We came home on Friday afternoon and dropped off the camper.  Thomas was here with the three girls.  It was so wonderful to have the girls so thrilled to see us.   When I told them we were not really home, Jordan laid accross my lap and said, "Yes you are Grammie, I can touch you".  That was so sweet.   Then we left again and went back to Chandler.  The shopping we had done was for each other for our anniversary gifts to each other.  We found some wedding rings that we both liked and so we went back and got them for each other.  They are just what we both wanted.  The sales lady said "Awe" when I had Bruce put my new rings on me and I put his new ring on him.  I always try to have him put my rings on me when I have had to take them off for some reason.  I love my original rings and will never part with them, but it is nice to have the new ones, too, they are beautiful. We have been married  37 years.  Three children & their Spouses and Eight grandchildren.  Not a bad average if you ask me. We are looking forward to at least 37 more.

We both have had our 40th class reunions in the past two months.  It was an eye opener.  Man, some of those people have really gotten old...roflol... Fun was had at both gatherings.  People just seemed to pick up where they left off at the last gathering.  It was cool.
