Our opening weekend has been FANTASTIC!!!  Thank you to everyone who came out Friday & Saturday!  We hope you all had a fabulous time & we hope you'll keep coming back.
We received a lot of compliments & suggestions & requests - thank you!  We want to know what you want.  Lots of y'all have asked for different themed music nights - hip-hop, rap, salsa, world music, oldies - we are definitely going to have different styles of music.  Keep an eye on this page for our entertainment calender, keep telling us what you need, and keep coming to Pi!

Congratulations on your opening it was so much fun. Thanks for opening a lesbian bar. We needed one. I loved the music and the DJ was awsome. But for a suggestion just to have less stress for the bartender's you should have the beer bucket girl on the side or 2. I heard alot of people complaining how long the wait was. And also I never saw any garbage cans so I didnt know where to throw my beer but you guys did a great job of keeping the place clean.

Okay - so where EXACTLY is this bar?  We drove around and saw the American Legion - is this the place? Which door do we go in? So confused - could it be because I'm 40 and wear glasses??? Oh, do tell - which way to go?  And, no, we just drove off into the dark night scratching our heads asking "what to do, what to do."
A bunch of us plan to make our way to Pi Saturday night and help here would be most welcome!

I was just wondering if you guys are planning to have 18+ nights???? I have a few friends who are just under 21 and frustrated with not being able to get into any of the places that we go on the weekends. Maybe on a fri or saturday. No one else has that could be most profitable! Definatly could be worth it and we'd love a new place to go with those friends!

I think it's really cool that you're not just "opening a bar."  I like the effort to really take feedback and provide a space that caters to many different people.  I'll have more of an impression the more times I go.  It sounds like you're already thinking of ways to evolve.  Right on.

My freinds and I really liked the bar and had fun - we totally apreciate the bar so it's with a heavy heart that I am going to make suggestions - good job on the beer tub and the customer service is great. But how about not such bright lights in the hallway and a few bar height cafe tables to transition from the resturant(LOVE the name) to the bar?

YOU GUYS ROCK!  I was there last night and I was so impressed!  I know it's a work in progress and I can't wait to see what you ladies come up with :)  I LOVE the free pool, even though I'm not a good player, it's still fun!  The space is so open and big, we haven't had that for a long time, it's nice.  Love the free coat check and friendly staff-they went out of their way to keep the place clean, orderly and you could tell they were actually happy to be there!  I have to say, though, that I'm most impressed with the diverse environment.  Never have we had a space that there were all age groups, ethnicities, etc. all coexisting perfectly...it felt so nice!  And, of course, building a repoir with God-Des and She is awesome, we(I speak for all the MN Lesbians!) love them and want to see them back whenever possible.  I can't wait to see what other talent you have booked for the future and more artists' work, etc.  I'll be posting pics from last night in the next couple days and will post a bulletin so you know you can use them on your site too.  Keep up the great work, see you again soon!
Nicky :)

though it's been said a few times already, an 18+ night would be amazing...this place sounds awesome, but my girlfriend and i can't check it out for quite awhile because of our age(s)!

I've heard great things about the opening night, sorry I couldn't make it, but I plan to check it out sometime this weekend.  Hopefully we can work together in the future.

Cheers to the girls at PI and their whole staff.  We (Marv, Lois and Ron) from Kuiper Specialties, Inc. got to be involved in the construction of PI and it has been by far the most enjoyable experience of our lives.  Tara and Benny were wonderful to work for and with.  We couldn't be happier or prouder of their success.

Wonderful food by Steph, wonderful music by Blowtorch, the staff are delightful and always make us feel welcome....

WE LOVE YOU ALL...........

SCSU GLBT Alliance

The people in SCSU's GLBT Alliance are also wondering if there are plans in the works for an 18+ night as a few of our members are just shy of 21 and are aching for a place to go other than the not-so-Gay 90s. Perhaps for bigger acts like Bitch and God-des it would have been a neat idea to go 18+ to boost attendance. Just a few loving suggestions. :)

New to the city and first time at the bar, honestly not too impressed. The bar wasn't busy and the staff and patrons were not too inviting. It was kind of a disapointment to us. We might come again in the future and hopefully people will be more friendly. I'm sure there are friendlier bars out there.
