Hello,
I just made some Nachos in the toaster oven.
They cam out pretty good. I used a small cake brownie type pan and put in some salt & transfat free chips, Rosaritas Vegetarian Refried beans, Cheddar Cheese, & topped it off with salsa when it was done.
In other news I ate a piece of chocolate. Just one square. I buy the big dark chocolate bars and break them up along the designated indentions and I put them in a cookie jar in the kitchen.
I have never thrown away any of the guitar magazines that I have bought over the years. Mostly Guitar World, Some Guitar Players and a few other guitar related magazines that seemed interesting at the time I bought them. I really don't have all that many but it is fun to pull one one from 1994 or 1999 or whatever issue and read it again. I don't usually remember reading them so it is like a brand new magazine. I try to extract every bit of reading entertainment like it is a new magazine.
I have one that has an email from me published in the "letters to the editor" section. I can't remember which one but everytime I read a new (old) guitar magazine I always check the letters to the editor section first to see if it is the one.
It is interesting to see who they were writing about and also the artcles and adds for the new products.
I am currently reading March 1999. It has an interview of Kurt Cobain and Also Bob Dylan as well as one of Billy Cox who was Jimi Hendrix's Bass Player on the Band of Gypsies. He met Jimi in the army. I have read most of the articles and am now working through the blurb type things that are stashed in between. It has a poster that I have not pulled out yet that has Kurt Cobain on one side and Jimi Hendrix on the other. It is a "Collectors Issue" according to the Cover which has a picture of Kurt holding a pistol pointed straight at the camera. The theme is "The Dangerous 90s" "10 explosive years in rock" and it includes quotes from several guitar players plus a list of the 20 albums that mattered most.
