Howdy,
I have found myself listening to the Radio on Sunday Nights here in Houston & I would like to plug the following Shows.
Little Steven's Underground Garage which comes on around 8pm til 10 on 93.7 FM on you radio dial in Houston but you can find it in your town also or online by looking up Little Stevens Underground garage.
At 11 pm tune in to KUHF at 88.7 on the fm dial and hear Micheal Barone do his program called Pipe Dreams. It is all large organ music and better than you expect. Michael knows about all the organs & music and is very interesting to listen to when he is speaking and he plays some excellent music. You can find mp3 archives of his shows at www.pipedreams.org and hear for youself.
After that program on the same station (88.7fm Houston) is a show called "Night Classics" hosted by Adam Tendler. Adam plays a variety of classical music but it is all very good. You can tell by how he talks abou the music that he has a great appreciation and gunuine love for it also. It is a great program so check it out. If you want to listen online, You can hear Adam at www.kuhf.org by clicking on the "listen live" icon. I don't think it is archived so you would have to tune in around 12:30 Central Time.
If you like Blues, Check out KPFT at www.kpft.org and 90.1 on your fm dial in Houston. They start out early and play blues all afternoon. I usually tune in around 9:30 or so on my way out to Galveston and hear Mr & Mrs V. I used to listen all day since the Galveston Sunday Gig I am not able to hear Nuri Nuri or Blueshound who come on at 11 and 2 respectively.
Now get on over to Woolworths and buy yourself a radio.
