Current mood: annoyed
Signed up to sell my Rugged Thug.com clothing on Amazon.com
My sales rep told me there was a 50% off sale - so I decided to try it out for a month.
I got the bill a week later - they charged me full price (sigh)
I emailed my rep and asked what the deal was.
She said "I just mentioned that we may or may not be having a sale"
I said "What are you talking about fool, you said it was half off"
She says "If the 50% off sale was the deciding factor for signing up with Amazon.com - then maybe your company isn't a good fit for us"
I CAN'T BELIEVE THE RUDENESS OF THESE PEOPLE!!
The bottom line is that if you say there is a sale - you have to honor the sale!
All she had to say to me was "I'm sorry I must have made a mistake"
and it wouldn't have bothered me as much.
Instead they chose to insult me.
What they are saying is like this: You go to a store to buy socks and they are
on sale - you get to the checkout and they ring up the full price - when you tell
them it is on sale - the cashier says "What - can't you afford it".
I then sent and email using one of their forms on their site asking for a
phone number to contact a supervisor.
They emailed me back and said "Please fill out the form on the website"
I emailed back saying "If I wanted to fill out the fucking form I would have done so"
Now - a supervisor emailed me back and said
"Please supply us with the details of your request, so that we can thoroughly investigate and be prepared with our answer. At that time we will decide if the question/answer warrants a phone call or a reply via email"
I emailed them back saying "I hope my question warrants a response"
Needless to say I cancelled my account with them
If this is the kind of thing that happens upon just registering with them
I can't imagine what would have happened down the road.
Just another day of business bullshit
