I was upset over CBS's decision to cancel the show "Jericho". I will be doing what I can to save the show. I have signed a few petitions and will be joining the letter writing campaigns to have CBS reverse their decision to cancel the show. Show's have been saved before with write in campaigns so I don't think that this is a worthless cause. If any of you were fans of the show and also want to do what you can to save the show go to the link
in my friends. They have an extensive lists of people to write to and they done a really EXCELLENT job of organizing the various groups also dedicated to saving the show. Thank you all. SAVE JERICHO! NUTS!!

Well congrats for saving the show. I've never seen it so I have no idea what it is about. I'm sure it must be good. I heard something on letterman about. What was the deal with the nuts? That's what they were talking about but context clues aside, I just didn't get it.

Jericho is a town that has survived a terrorist plot to detonate nuclear bombs in major cities across the United States. The town is isolated.. They have famrland and each other. Another town comes to them for food. They agree to manufacture wind turbines to power Jericho in exchange for food and some salt. Jericho has a salt mine. The other town manufactures the turbines for them but also munitions. They are preparing to invade the town to take all the farmlands and the salt mine.

The "buts" reference came about in the season finale. The mayor in charge of the other town gives Jericho one more chance to give up, surrender or be massacred. Skeet's character says ,"nuts!", It is the response the British gave the Germans during WWII at the Battle of the Bulge.

The finale was exciting and fans were waiting for news that the show was picked up. CBS passed. "Nuts!" became the rallying cry to bring the series back on CBS. A well organized group listed the names, addresses and phone numbers of the people who get the show back on the air. Money was donated to place ads in newspapers and magazines. Not a cheap thing to do. Money poured in for this. Then 40 thousand pounds of nuts were purchased and sent to CBS headquarters.

CBS changed their minds, renewd the show on a limited basis. They want improvement in the ratings before a final decision is made to bring the series back for a fiull season.

I love the photos of you and Riley.
