oh man oh boy. what a great recording session was that at geoff's. we finished 2 new songs: lillie's eyes and patches of sentiments, and also tracked some bass for the present version of birds.
to the recording, for mental and physical sustain, chelsea brought vanilla cake with chocolate icing. talita brought banana muffins with chocolate chips. elizabeth brought nothing.
but she did bring some very toothsome lemon syrup cake at our last practice, so she was pardoned.
for timbrel variety, chelsea brought many instruments with her, a tamborine, casiotone, ukulele and a harmonica. talita brought her double bass, guitar and maraccas. elizabeth brought nothing.
lolzorz because she's wonderful on her own!
ok so lillie's eyes was especially FUN to record we got to do handclaps and voiceshouts and cheering and maraccashaking and all that good stuff geoff joined in too the good pal he is it was good to have boy voice.
then we went to get burgerfuel (PERFECTION) i really love burgerfuel you know what i'm gonna cancel this whole blog about recording and just talk about burgerfuel isn't burgerfuel great? yes i do what shares with my order, and i do want a soy-malt shake to go with my burger. burgerfuel owns me any day thank you very much. it rained pretty bad when we were at burgerfuel, i didn't mind staying at burgerfuel longer.
then came time whence we leave burgerfuel.
back to geoff's.
we started to record patches of sentiments. i took a nap on the double bass case, and chelsea on the bed. elizabeth - yes the same fruitless one as mentioned earlier, tried to suffocate chelsea and talita with a pillow to their faces while they were deep in slumber that kid, seriously.
then we laughed and cuddled and fought and cried (from more laughter)..
then we all went home.
thanks for recording us, geoff. you are the man.
