If you didn't know already, we're already on the next core. We've written an album about the most notorious tyrannical world leaders throughout history and it's called Tyrant. We're doing this album a little differently from the others because we want to sound like a real band that can play their songs. On all previous records, the take that went down was the first time we ever got it right. And in some cases, we didn't even manage that, but the new album is all written and now we're practicing it.

So, come January, we're going to record it (again), and short of a studio, we need somewhere to do it. If you can't help, then please, FWD this to someone you know who might. What we're looking for is a large room where we can make noise for a week or two.

Firstly, what do you get out of it? (because selfless benevolence is a dying art)

- a copy of the album
- a credit on the album (your name in lights)
- our eternal gratitude and friendship
- some free 'studio' time for you or your mate's band (see myspace.com/gotmicswilltravel) once tyrantcore is on the shelves.
- 'personal services' (alan goes for hours. we've been told)

What we need: (in order of importance, not necessarily all of them, just the first two would be ace)

- a large room (think at least twice the size of your living room)
- a high ceiling (it's all about acoustics)
- another room we can put speakers in (we'll call it 'the control room')
- lockable doors (my microphones are expensive)
- understanding neighbours (or deaf neighbours, or just none at all)
- central heating (drummers have feelings too)
- victorian/georgian decor (wooden floors, ornate window frames, peacocks in the garden etc.)

please push this bulletin around and help us record the best album of 2008.
