I don't get it. How come "The West" can be satanic and evil....but we can't even say enemy combatant without getting sued.

Thanks, Pat, for putting this so bluntly to the religious bigots. We must resolve to speak out whatever is passed by the UN.

An entire movement dedicated to stopping free speech? Led by the UN? Do these people just not realize how evil they sound? I can't believe the stupidity that goes into these proposals. As an American, I'm going to fight this every inch of the way if it passes, the way Thomas Jefferson would've done.

I have lost all respect for the UN b/c they're only as good as the countries that make it up, and that includes a large portion of Islamic fundamentalist countries as well as Islamic ass-kissing countries. Now people are not allowed to talk about human rights violations if they are done in the name of religion. You're damn right Pat, even complete bastards deserve free speech; then at least we know who the assholes are and can stay the hell away from them or tell them they are stupid fucks.

Do you ever do public speeches? You should.

Brilliant. Funny. Horrifyingly true...

When I saw this one the news, I was at work and started cursing up a storm which got some queer looks from some of my co-workers on break. They didn't even care! They didn't understand what was even going on! They listened, shrugged their shoulders, some nodded, and then they all started talking about their shoes and other trivial things. I could have screamed.

And I wonder...Could one really start 'Free Speech' as a religion? Worshiping the trinity of freedom?

Lol

I love waking up every morning without a silly fictitious father figure staring at me every second of the day. Religion is embarrassing.

Pat, you are the greatest. And you and I are so much on the same page. We have to consider our freedoms as SACRED. Islam is blasphemous against MY religion.

I've been writing a new book with exactly the same theme, and you can bet you're going in it with this one!

OUR TRUE HUMAN CIVILIZATION IS HOLY AND SACRED, AND ATTEMPTS AT DESTROYING ARE BLASPHEMOUS.

I will take that one step further: The U.S. Constitution is my sacred text. You can read my blog post about that - I wrote that years ago.

A Truly Sacred Scripture

I agree with you to some extent: free will/free speech is an extremely important right. Yet whilst you uphold your own free speech, you criticise others for using exactly the same right.
