After recently launching their debut EP Ayo! Lets Go! in Adelaide and Darwin with great success, 3-piece SA band The Secret Game are returning home for one show at the Crown & Anchor Hotel on Friday July 10 with local legends Quiet Child and Melbourne’s The Red Tree. ....

 ....

The youthful enthusiasm for travelling is immediately apparent with the band as their six track EP Ayo! Lets Go! was recorded all the way over in Bali, Indonesia, and mixed in Brisbane's Blackbox Studio by ARIA-winning producer Magoo (Spiderbait, Regurgitator, End of Fashion, Midnight Oil, Pnau, Butterfingers).....

 ....

So due to this personality trait, once the CD had been launched in Adelaide (earlier this year in March), the guys set their sights for spreading their music to Darwin, Northern Territory.  This resulted in 2 successful launches (1 All-Ages & 1 Over 18s) and even a slot supporting Jimmy Barnes and The Presets at the huge V8s Race Festival (Darwin equivalent to the SA Clipsal Race).....

 ....

Now if that wasn’t enough excitement for these 3 lads, a publishing deal with JL Music Publishing was signed during the Fuse Festival which resulted in a song from the EP Sacred Scratch being included in successful Adelaide Film Festival movie "Offside".....

During their quick visit home the guys are also devoting their time to help out some young upcoming musicians by giving some Music Workshops.  A Songwriting and Percussion Workshop will be held at Twelve25 Youth Enterprise Centre on Thursday July 9, and a Recording and Music Industry Workshop at the Northern Sound System on Friday July 10.  All 12 - 18 year olds looking to get that next step up in the music industry are urged to attend the relevant workshop best suited to them, or go to all!....

These workshops and upcoming show are the only chances you’ll get to see the band perform live for quite a while as the boys are heading straight off on a tour to Indonesia to spread their music even further than before.  Come down and support local original independent bands – they’ll sooo love you for it!....
