I'm so excited about the most recent Nobel Peace Prize winner, Dr. Muhammad Yunus. He saw the vision of how providing microcredit loans to entrepreneurs in his home of Bangledesh would be a big leap in the prosperity movement.
As the Credit Millionaire, I'm hard pressed to disagree.
I've seen it myself. Entrepreneurs, even here in the prosperous US, having their lives improved by a simple small infusion of capital.
One of the things I also love about microcredit is it's usually granted to women, who are particularly suited for home-based businesses. Each day women are being empowered to provide better lives for themselves and their families.
No question that anyone who creates a system that empowers women gets my vote for the Peace prize. It's classic "trickle up"... Happy women equal happy homes, schools, towns, cities, and nations.
