Of course, this song was inspired by the arrival of my daughter Jillian. Now having two children, the world seems to be a very different place. One even more full of beauty and life. I'm thankful for my family. They are everything to me.

When my wife, Myra, became pregnant with our first child, Jadan, it seemed to me that the world was against us. Not just because it is very difficult to raise children, but also because it forever changed our reality. I feel like Jadan's first 3 years have been a period of adjustment for us; a period of letting go of our desire to control our lives. When Jillian arrived, she brought with her an overwhelming feeling of peace. She is a daily reminder to me that when you just let go of your attachments and embrace the moment, an inner joy fills you up. 

Jillian's arrival has also reminded me that we must live our lives based on what is in our hearts. There is no time to dwell in the skeptisism of others. Your heart will never lie.
