We hope you all had a safe and relaxing summer!!! Destino had an AMAZING summer!!! We kicked off the summer by touring and performing in incredible venues while meeting new fans, and we'd like to send off a special thank you to those of you who signed up to our fan club. Following the success of our concerts, we released our
debut studio album Forte! What an exciting and busy time we had, doing promotion at all the major Canadian media stations including
Canada AM,
Entertainment Tonight Canada, E-Talk Daily, among many others.
We were also blown away when we found out that we would be performing at the 2008 Beijing Olympics! Just to be there and to be asked by your government to represent your country was such an honor and an experience we will never forget!
We are a few weeks away from another first for us! On September 21st we will be singing the Canadian national anthem LIVE broadcast across the U.S. and Canada on the Fox network for the sold-out NFL game, where the Seahawks will be playing the Rams. Why the Canadian Anthem? Good question. Each year the Seahawks have a Canadian Fan appreciation game! Great hey!
