So what the hell have we been up to since 2000? We thought each of us would explain in our own words what we did since Boy Kicks Girl broke up in September 2000. Hope you enjoy.

KEVIN
For the past 9 years I've lived in San Jose and most recently my home in Mountain View with my pixie wife. I've been doing data management and case work for law firms in Palo Alto since 2000. Between all the work chaos I was somehow able to front another punk band called Kamikaze Radio between 2003 - 2005 and release 2 new albums, including another album in 2008 for my secret electronic project called Echelon Seven (both on iTunes). I've been unemployed since Nov. 2008 due to the shitty economy, but I started to loathe my corporate job anyways so it's really no loss other than money which is the root of all evil. My current passions are doing promo for the BKG reunion show, talking to old and new BKG fans, practicing BKG songs when I'm not a lazy slag, working out religiously 5x a week now that I have the free time, looking for a new job that doesn't suck (more necessity than passion), playing with my pet rat Beretta Vendetta who thinks she's a dog, averaging 97% accuracy on Guitar Hero III, late night online multiplayer mayhem of KILLZONE 2 on PS3 (add: ExPunkStar on PSN) and spending lots of quality time with the wifey. No plans for kids, as we're plenty happy practicing making one. Buy my albums, I need to eat and pay 2 California mortgages for a home that's considerably less than what I paid for it haha, dude that sucks...

BRANDON
After Boy Kicks Girl, I went on the road with some friends, started working for Tomato Head Records and joined My New Life in 2001. Starting as a temporary bassist I soon joined full time and the band put out two full length albums and did three national tours and a handful of west coast / southwest / moutain time tours. The band has been working on an EP, which should see the light of day soon. Tim and I are currently working on a new music project Harder, Faster, Deadly which is shooting for their debut early 2010.

BRETT
I headed to Oregon in Spring 2001 where I worked as a wildland firefighter on the Malheur National Forest in eastern Oregon and at Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California. During this time I met my future wife Laura and we married November 2003 in Wilsonville, Oregon. We joined the Peace Corps in June 2004 and lived in Armenia (north of Iran) until Fall 2005. I taught environmental education and she taught English. The opportunity to learn so much from another culture, while learning so much about your own, was truly a life changing experience for both of us. I highly encourage anyone to live abroad in a developing country once in your lifetime. Upon returning to the United States, I entered school for a masters degree in community and regional planning. I completed my degree from the Univeristy of Oregon in June 2008. My son Ethan was born July 2007 and, upon being a natural musician, is a tremendous joy to both Laura and I. Today I work in Portland, Oregon where I'm a parks and natural resource planner for a private firm. I still rock on the drums and am super stoked to once again join Kevin and Brandon on stage!
