hey guys, just wanted to drop a brief update to e'er one about what's goin down in wavorly world...
1.we've started the early (like embryo) stages of recording our next cd! what this means is that we're polishing off the strongest songs (we've written around 30 new ones) and putting the final touches on them to make them the best ever! this could includes (but is not limited to ;): lyrical rewrites, musical rewrites, new dance moves, wardrobe changes, kicking coon out of the band...(wait, that might not be true)...things of that nature. so prepare yourself to be preparing yourself for the new cd! we don't know when exactly it's going to be released, but you can rest assured that as soon as we know we'll let you know.
2. we're playing a few shows in the coming months, but won't be doing a solid tour until october. this is to allow for plenty of time to record the new cd. it's pretty much going to consume our fall season. one show that we're really pumped for is Freedom Fest in Albuquerque, NM on Sept. 5 w/ I Am Terrified, House of Heroes, and Blindside!!!! if you live near the area you should definitely come out! view all of our tour dates for more information about a show near you.
3. we're trying to get as many facebook friends and twitter followers as possible! if you're reading this on myspace, have a facebook and feel so inclined, please add and suggest us to as many friends as you'd care to do and hopefully we can boost the network. we're hoping to make it as easy as possible for everyone to hear about the new cd and things of that nature. also, join us on twitter and see the day to day/hour to hour/minute to minute shenanigans that we get into. coon updates it almost constantly, so check it out. twitter.com/wavorly (i think!)
4. be on the lookout for a new video blog very soon, it's probably my favorite we've ever done. (don't ever say not so!) you'll find it right here on the myspace as well.
anyway, hope everyone is doing well. have a great summer and don't be surprised when you get blessed in crazy ways. sometimes you have to go through really odd, really hard stuff before something amazing happens.
