Hey everyone! Just wanted to get your suggestions on ideas you might have for theme nights, events, promotions etc for the 2009 season! We already have $1 beer nights every Thursday, Fireworks every Friday and Giveaways every Saturday! What else should the JetHawks do???

all food items could be $1 after the seventh inning.

Our family loves going to a Jethawk game and we're always concerned when the stadium isn't packed. We saw what happened to the hockey center and don't want the same thing to happen to Clear Stadium. I think people are attracted by giveaways. Families are worried about money right now and could also use a break on the price of tickets or meals.
Here are a few ideas, that may or may not work, because I don't really know how much they would cost:

1. Ladies night - All ladies receive a pink or purple baseball hat.

2. Meal night - A hamburger meal is discounted.

3. A small pre-game concert by someone who is trying to break into the business.

4. Pillow fight with Kaboom on the field.

5. Sell tickets for an egg hunt (like the ones you get at Easter). Some eggs have food coupons, store coupons, maybe a coupon to sit in one of the boxes for a game, some may have $1 or $5 bill. Maybe one lucky person could win $100.

Come on people! Show your support!

More Fireworks!

Agree with the previous poster on giving families a break. I realize that the Jethawks are REALLY inexpensive, but with families cutting back, everyone is looking for a "deal".

How about a "kids get in free" night? Buy an adult ticket, get a kid's ticket free. Reserse several sections so that all the families are sitting together.

Or, you could do the reverse: child gets to bring the adult in for free.

GO JETHAWKS!

throw real game baseballs into the stands randomly. concerts on mondays with local bands. you could have like a sighn up table at the front. activitys were local teams play the jethawks for warm up or training. on wensdays merchandise could be half off till the 4th inning. sundays discounted food. you know how you guys did the tumble weed tuesdays where the tickets were 10 cents per mph the wind was blowing was a good one. another thing is car shows.

an awsome concert...this venue is the best layout for something like this to happen...I used to service communications to this place(telephones) and pushed the issue to "John" the groundskeeper and he was crying a bout the field...it's GRASS... IT GROWS BACK...put something down on it to keep from "ruining it"(his words)...DUH! This would improve thee economy which is well needed here! By the way...BaseBall does not run all year 'round...PUT THIS PLACE TO GREATER USE ON THEE OFF SEASON!!!!!!!!!
