My fellow voters,

This has been quite a day! I got the family up and at the polls at 6:15am to beat the crowd. It turns out about 50 other voters had the same idea.

After we cast our vote, I was off to the DC for Obama office at 803 Florida Ave. From there, I was assigned to the Obama call center at the Warehouse Theater in downtown DC. I made 55 calls to voters in Virginia from 11:30am to 1:30pm.

I went to the DNC headquarters for my next assignment. I took three voters, Danielle, Rebecca and Rebecca with me to the boondocks otherwise known as Dumfries, VA. We delivered food to volunteers at the Lynn Middle School polling station and made ourselves visible at the corner of Prince William HWY and Longview Dr. until the sun disappeared behind the horizon and the polls were in their final hour.

From "can't see at morning to can't see at night" this descendant of slaves worked like one to put Barack Obama in the White House and secure his rightful place in history!
