This is the first blog I've ever written on Myspace.com.. Maybe I should start by saying a little bit about myself. First of all, I'm going to graduate from college in about 3 weeks, and I have about three 10 page papers i should be working on now. My major is Japanese and my wife is Japanese. I am just normal white guy though. I work at a bank and do music for fun. I watched a Japanese movie the other day called "Eli, eli lema sabbacthani". The movie was pretty boring, but there were some awesome parts in it. The main characters made crazy instruments out of random junk - one of their instruments was a bunch of tubes that made different tones when you would spin them around. They connected those tubes to a broken umbrella and then connected that to an old fan. When they turned the fan on, all the tubes spun around and made a pretty cool sound. It reminded me of instruments my brother used to make. One time he had a dream about our band playing a HUGE tambourine. So when he woke up, he started making it right away. Our uncle that was living with us told him to get a big piece of wood and let it soak in the bathtub so he could bend it into a circle. Then my brother was going to take the little metal discs out of a computer (what are they?? - I don't know!!) and put them into the wood somehow.. Long story short, it didn't work out. But it was a cool idea.
