Current mood:  crazy
Category: Writing and Poetry
So, seven days, and I will be rewarded with the newest book in her series!  Go, Laurell, go.  I'm realizing now, in re-reading them all from the beginning, that I've never followed an author who's written a series (and still is writing) that spans over more than a decade.  I want to be this woman - her universe is solo, genius, and unlike much of the other vampire related shlock out there.  I'm not a goth, not a 'vampyric princess', but neither is Anita, really.  She's always drowning deeper into that world, but down deep, she's tough as nails and all about getting down to business.

And guns, lots of really awesome guns.  Makes me want to learn to shoot, for fear of zombie/lycanthrope/vampire attack.

And ohmyfuckinglordy, Bones.  The 3rd season finale of Bones has shattered my heart, and I don't really want to give spoilers, but the poor kid.  Man, I chick'd out and cried for like five minutes with all sorts of emotions.  It was amazing, I haven't been affected so by a show since The X-Files and, more recently, Dexter.  Bow down to all these things, and join me to see 'I Want to Believe'  in July.

I want a gaggle of nerds, geeks, techs, jocks, druggies, rockers - any stereotype you can get your hands on, we're all going, and it's going to revert you all to X-Philes.

All hail!

There are some things in life that cannot be helped - deviance from life to read Anita Blake novels is near the top of the list :0) I think Jean Claude is still my favorite, because he's such a good bad boy - Richard's too emotional, and I love Edward. Edward, Edward, Edward.
