Dear Readers
As
you all know my health has been like a runaway train. My finances have
gone with my health. I am still waiting for the system to give me help
but so far not much has happened.
I did get one bit of good news. The Blues Foundation in Memphis (www.blues.org) helps with The Hart Fund, which is set up to help musicians in a time of need with medical problems.
They
just informed me that I was approved to get one of my medical bills
covered. Thanks to the Hart Fund I have one bill off my back at the
Medical Clinic where I go most often.
I can't thank them enough. At least I know I can walk in one medical facility without feeling like a bum.
Please consider joining the Blues Foundation. They have helped so many blues acts along the way. They also helped Candye Kane and Nicole Harts husband Lance via the Hart Fund too.
They don't just run the International Blues Challenge and the Blues Music Awards, they truly help musicans in many ways.
