"Impact Words That Sell Like Crazy!"
Unfortunately, there is no point having visitors to your website or online opportunity if you cannot make sales.
Just because you have a website or an online opportunity that "COULD" sell, it doesn't mean that it "WILL" sell! If your website doesn't sell, your online business is doomed to failure.
Here are 9 excellent tips when creating sales content for your websites, blogs and classified ads etc:
1: Sprinkling words written in all capital letters can be a great way to emphasize particular points, but don't use all caps ALL THE TIME, it looks like you are shouting, and is very difficult to read.
2: In email you can use asterisks to highlight words such to give them added *impact*!
3: On a webpage you can use bold to achieve the same effect.
4: Don't underline words on a webpage because people will think the text is a hyperlink and try to click on it... very frustrating!
5: Use what I call "Web-English". A lot of people who speak English as a first language will not understand your local phrases and expressions (hands up the Americans who know what a "fortnight" means or what "petrol" is)?
Additionally, there are millions of people online who use English as a second language. To keep as many visitors as possible interested in your copy use short words, short sentences and no slang words. Keep it simple and remember "Web English" is a different language!
6: If someone loves your product use a testimonial! Plaster them over your website. Building credibility in an online world is very difficult but very important. Testimonials will help to bridge the gap between you and the visitor. But whatever you do, don't make them up!
7: Make it exciting for the reader! Look at it from their point of view. Use "you" and "your" a lot and make them see the reasons why they *need* your product!
8: Proofread your copy. Nothing is worse than a glaring spelling error in your best line of copy! Don't just use a spell-checker. If you wrote "red" instead of "read" how many spell-checkers would correct it? Not many. Check your copy yourself, and then get a good friend to proofread it for you.
9: Use some "Impact Words": Free, New, Save, Easy, Guarantee, Fast, Magic, Healthy, Money, Happy!
If you consider all of these factors when writing your sales "copy" you will easily earn an online income!
