Speaking of Hairy Fox, he had a heyday with the pic you posted of me.  Apparently, Hairy Fox has never heard of a TRIPOD!  He quotes the NRA rules on safety as if they were a law.  As you exposed Hannah, I’ll expose Hairy.  His sole mission is to get conservatives so frustrated with his nonsense that someone will say, “Well, I’ll shoot you myself, you bastard!”  Then he will copy and paste that sole remark to his blog, not the dribble that led up to the remark.  Then he will attempt to get the conservative profile deleted from MySpace.  That’s his gig.  Hairy and Hannah (which I also have some experience), are the only two with the distinction of being outright banned from my blog.  The rest I handle as it comes.  If they make an arguable point, I’ll entertain it.  Not because I will convince them personally, but because other readers will hear both sides with a reasonable conservative rebuttal and will then soundly reject the stupid liberal argument!  Conservatism just makes too much sense ... HELLO! I’ll email Paul, but I have one small difference of opinion with him over Czars.  The fact is the name Czar is created by the press, not the government.  For instance the name “Drug Czar” is actually “The office of Director of National Drug Control Policy, created by the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988.”  It requires Senate approval.  Some Czars are actually lesser Executive officials that received elevated status in order to spearhead Executive policy.  The name “Czar” dates back to the FDR administration which still has the most Czars according to Wikipedia.  Grant it, Wikipedia is less than trustworthy whenever politics comes into play because of all the Liberal contributors, but the explanation of “Czar” I consider “politics neutral.”  Hence I give them more credence.  Lesser officers requires no Senate approval according to the Constitution in Article II, sect 2, par 2.  It reads: “He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers, and Consuls, Judges of the Supreme Court, and all other offices of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law. But the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers as they think proper in the President alone, in the courts of law, or in the heads of departments.” Because the Congress considers these Czars “lesser” Executive officers in their “official” Executive positions, they can be appointed by the President solely.  This is where the folly is.  The moment a lesser official, or an official created by Executive Order comes into the President’s inner circle of policy makers, they are no longer lesser officials.  I believe ANY inner circle policy maker MUST be approved by the Senate because the President is intimately depending on their advice.  They have a great deal of latitude with the President.  They are in fact charged for formulating national policy as much as they are charged with carrying out existing Presidential policy.  It is simply huge!  All of the Executive positions created by any law should be retro-actively required to be approved by the Senate, regardless of the law that created the “official” position in the first place.  This should happen the very the moment the President pulls them into his or her inner circle.  Any position created by Executive Order, justified by existing congressional laws, should also be required to receive Senate approval if they were created to be a focal point of official Executive policy. We need a new statute giving the Senate, with the recommendation from the Senate “Committee on Rules and Administration,” the authorization to trigger the requirement on a majority vote.  As you can see, the issue of Czars is much more complex than it looks.  If we rant about what this looks like without doing the research, then we will look as silly as the Liberals.
