After their last two sell out gigs, The SKA Burlesque returns to the Amersham Arms, for the third time for another night of gyrating flesh and Two-Tone grooves.

Continuing to combine the best of London's burlesque and Ska acts, the line up for The Ska Burlesque's third outing at the Amersham Arms continues the events tradition of bringing together the best that the SKA and Burlesque scene's have to offer.

Burlesque Acts Appearing On Thursday 13th December

Crimson Skye – Still on the run from the law, the SKA Burlesque welcomes back fan favourite Crimson Skye and boy is this jailbird as crazy as ever. If you're lucky you might even catch a glimpse of Ed, the severed head of her cheating ex. catch her while you can....

The Glitter Kittens – A modern age Burlesque troupe, all the way from Manchester, the Glitter Kittens spice things up with their own brand of Rock and Roll thrown in for good measure. This is one double act that will definitely knock you're socks off.

Stella Plumes - Having won the best newcomer award at the London Burlesque Festival and featured in Time Out, Stella takes her rightful place as our headline performer. Watch as shy Enid Brown becomes sexy Stella Plumes live on stage. (http://www.myspace.com/stellaplumes).

Live Bands Appearing On Thursday 13th December

The Eskalators Local SKA heroes the Eskalators finally take to the stage at this very special SKA Burlesque. Mixing both original and Two-Tone SKA, as well as knocking out SKA versions of classic rock tracks such as Led Zep's, Whole Lotta Love. This is a much anticipated and eagerly awaited appearance from this legendary New Cross band.

SwaggaA cross genre mix of Ska, Hip Hop & Rap, fusing old and new bringing Ska to a different level. Lyrical genius Ray writes witty, urban fairytales which document modern life in Britain, covering the ASBO generation and the Americanisation of the British culture (http://www.myspace.com/swaggaska)

Kunta Kinte - Blending tribal, world-influenced drums and percussion with quirky, acerbic English lyrics, six-piece pop band Kunta Kinte have been described as "Adam Ant meets the Scissor Sisters" by UK industry publication Record Of The Day. Their dressed-up live shows are a riot of chanting backing vocals, face paint and Victorian-inspired finery, which might explain why Record of the Day has said that "they look and sound like nothing we have seen in recent times" and Music Week called the group "brilliant – packed with pop hits and charisma."
